Once you've spent just a bit of time on our 40, that’s what you’ll be asking yourself.  Based on the proven Robbins hull, the Mathews 40 offers you long-range cruising with all the comforts of home.

The spacious cockpit is typically non-skid flooring, however teak is optional.  The aft steering station affords you ease of use in docking, fishing, or to join your company when entertaining.  Optional transom gate and swim platforms can accommodate the most avid of fisherman, swimmers and boaters in general.


The large salon area is fully customizeable with a comfortable helm and plenty of room to design your own seating, galley and storage space.

Down below in the cabin, you can again customize your space - full head with enclosed - or separate shower. traditional V-berth or center line berth double sleep area,  hanging locker, drawer/storage banks.

Whatever your plans are for the Bay - fishing, cruising, or just entertaining, the Mathews 40 has it all!
